This Privacy Policy applies to the Pomo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Application”) operated by Pomo Team (“we,” “us,” or the “Service Provider”).

Information We Collect

You can use Pomo's core timer without creating an account. Depending on the features you choose to use, we may process:

• Account information that you provide when creating or accessing an optional account.
• User content and activity information that you provide or generate while using the Application, including information needed to provide and synchronize your focus history.
• Application preferences needed to remember your settings and choices.
• Anonymous or aggregated usage information used to understand and improve the Application when analytics is enabled. This information is not intended to identify you or track you across apps or websites. You can disable analytics in the Application's settings.
• Technical information ordinarily processed when an application communicates with online services, such as basic device, application, network, and diagnostic information.

Pomo does not request access to or track your device's precise location. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and personalize the Application;
• create and manage optional accounts and synchronize information across devices;
• maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Application;
• provide communications or features that you request;
• respond to support and privacy requests; and
• comply with applicable law and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Application, its users, and others.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

Local Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Pomo may provide notifications related to features you use. Notifications are not used for targeted advertising.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The native mobile Application does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our website, hosting providers, and other online service providers may process standard server logs or use technologies necessary to deliver and secure their services. If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies that require consent, we will provide the appropriate notice and choice.

Service Providers and Disclosure

We use service providers to operate, support, secure, and improve the Application. These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services and are subject to their own legal and security obligations.

We may also disclose information:

• when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request;
• when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, address security or technical issues, or protect rights and safety;
• as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards; or
• with your direction or consent.

Anonymous or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you may be used or disclosed to understand and improve the Application.

Data Retention and Deletion

Personal information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Application and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. You may delete certain content in the Application and may request deletion of your account and associated personal information. We may retain limited information for a reasonable period where necessary for backups, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Information stored locally on your device generally remains there until it is changed, cleared, or the Application is uninstalled. Uninstalling the Application does not automatically delete information already associated with an account or processed by our service providers.

Anonymous or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify an individual may be retained for Application analysis and improvement.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

You can disable anonymous usage analytics in the Application's settings. To exercise another privacy right, contact us at team@pomo.run. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some rights may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may have the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and to receive equal service when exercising their privacy rights. Pomo does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Requests may be submitted to team@pomo.run.

International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or contractual protections.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a personal-data breach occurs, we will provide notices when and as required by applicable law.

Third-Party Links

The Application or website may link to services that we do not operate. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review those policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Application or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide any additional notice or request consent when required by law.
